Conditions of Sale
SCENIC WORLD STANDARD CONDITIONS OF SALE

‘Scenic World’ means the companies operating the rides known as the Scenic Railway, Scenic Skyway and Scenic Cableway.

Scenic World reserves the right to direct passengers to whichever ride is available into or out of the valley, for safety, operational, or other reasons.

Scenic World reserves the right to load the rides at its discretion.  The ride attendant is the authority at any moment and higher management will not override their decisions.

A return ‘Valley Ride’ consists of transport into the valley and back again by whatever mode of transport is available to Scenic World at the time.  A combination of the two rides (Scenic Railway and Scenic Cableway) is not guaranteed.

Payment for the “ride” entitles the passenger to the use of the rides at Scenic World as detailed below.  Tickets are valid up to the arrival of the last trip for the day at the departure station, on the day of issue only.

Use of the rides, the boardwalk and adjacent facilities is at the passengers’ own risk and Scenic World accepts no responsibility for an accident or injury. All due care is taken by Scenic World to make the rides and adjacent areas safe.

Every effort will be made to return passengers to the main station at close of business each day, but we accept NO responsibility for passengers who may be left in the valley, or at the Skyway Eastern station, after the last trip.  The advertised ‘last trip’ times are 16:55 hrs (4.55pm) on normal days and 17:25 hrs (5.25pm) on Public Holidays during daylight saving periods.  This is the time that the train and both cable cars leave their respective return stations.

Emergency Retrieval trips may be charged for.

The boardwalk that connects the two bottom stations is not part of the rides and it is at the discretion of the ride attendant as to which return ride he or she may direct passengers to use on the last trip of the day.

Guest Safety:

Riders are responsible for their own safety at all times through responsible behaviour.
Children riding on the Scenic Railway are to be accompanied by an adult at all times.

The risk of children becoming lost in the valley area of Scenic World is a recognised one, and parents are requested not to allow children to access the valley without responsible supervision.

The boardwalks are to allow guest access to the rainforest area whilst protecting the environment. Guests are requested not to leave the boardwalk, or interfere with, pick, touch or mark any plant. Your consideration will be appreciated by guests who come after you.
