Scenic World sits on the escarpment at Katoomba, overlooking the magnificent Jamison Valley.

The Skyway Restaurant offers a spectacular and unmatched view of the valley and the famous Three Sisters.  Its rotating floor ensures that everyone gets to enjoy the view.  The rotation function can be switched on or off – depending on your function.

You may opt to hold your welcome reception on the Cableway Café Terrace or down in the valley in the Rainforest Room.

Guests travel into the valley on the Scenic Railway, the world's steepest passenger railway (recognised by the Guinness Book of Records) and back again on Australia’s steepest cablecar, the Scenic Cableway.

Champagne and canapés can be served in the Rainforest Room or on the café terrace.

Afterwards, you and your guests will enjoy dinner in the Skyway restaurant with your choice of music to enhance the atmosphere.

You can opt for an all-inclusive package or compose a customised menu from our extensive range of food and beverages.

We can structure a function to meet most budget requirements.  For any event over 50 guests there will be no room hire charge. Catering in the valley incurs a surcharge per person depending on number of Guests, duration and package choice. The minimum is $5.00 per person.

Children 10 years or under half price. We can cater for any dietary requirements when given ample notice.
