Sculpture at Scenic World is Australia’s premier outdoor sculpture exhibition that will transform the ancient rainforest into an outdoor gallery from April 12 – May 12.
Set among towering Jurassic rainforest in the heart of the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains, Sculpture at Scenic World 2019 will capture the imagination of young and old with more than 25 thought provoking artworks from local, national and international artists.
Expect the unexpected as you meander along the 2.4km Scenic Walkway, marvelling at stunning scenery and artworks, ranging from subtle sculptures to bold installations that interact with the natural environment in new ways.
Accessed by the world’s steepest railway with the iconic Three Sisters as a backdrop, Sculpture at Scenic World provides the perfect excuse for a weekend arts escape, with a range of exclusive accommodation packages on offer. A range of kids workshops and free activities will also keep the little ones entertained.
Top off your arts exploration with a visit to Sculpture Otherwise– an exhibition of smaller sculptures held at the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre – or Tracks, an exciting outdoor exhibition which showcases a series of artworks at iconic locations throughout the Greater Blue Mountains Area.
