Nocturnal is an immersive, sensory and interactive experience which includes all Scenic World rides after dark. Discover light installations and holograms that illuminate parts of Scenic World, unveiling the wonders of the Jamison Valley.

Kids will have their very own Nocturnal quest to find clues along the Nocturnal journey and discover the Gundungurra Story of Creation! Learn and connect with the ancient wonders of the rainforest when the sun begins to set.
Roast your own marshmallows
Nocturnal is a feast for all the senses. Warm your fingers and enjoy the night skyway as you sip hot chocolate or mulled wine and roast your own marshmallows around the firepit*.
Start or end your Nocturnal adventure with a hot dinner or snack from our special night menu - think Dorito chicken wings, loaded baked spuds, Nocturnal burgers, donut chips, fried ice cream and more hot food for the whole-family from our restaurant, EATS270 and the Terrace Bar.

Free shuttle bus for Nocturnal guests
If you are catching a train or simply want to park at your hotel or in Katoomba, you can jump on the free shuttle bus to get to Nocturnal and back. Runs every 25 minutes from 5 to 9pm. The stops are: Katoomba Station > opposite the Carrington Hotel > Palais > Lilianfels/Echopoint > Katoomba Falls Reserve > Scenic World
